- Mono Shock™ RA 136 rear suspension
The Mono Shock RA 136 cuts an amazing 12 pounds off of the ProAction™ 136 suspension formerly used on previous models. Like the 121-inch version, the 136 offers riders a full 20 clicks of compression adjustment on the 46mm aluminum HPG shock. The dial is located on the left of the tunnel, near the rider’s leg for easy access from the seat. The Mono Shock RA 136 delivers 11.7 inches of vertical travel.

- Deltabox™ II with comfortable rider-forward position ergos
The primary design objective of the Deltabox II chassis was to create a comfortable rider-forward posture. The ergonomic treatment is achieved by moving the handlebars forward by 6 inches and raising them by 4 inches. The seat is also roughly 2.5 inches taller and the seated position is 8.375 inches forward of previous models. With this positioning, the rider can go from sitting to standing and back again easily and comfortably. It also further centralizes the combined mass of sled and driver, for razor-sharp handling.

- Wide, hooked handlebars
To match the tall and forward rider position, a tall, hooked handlebar is standard fare on the Attak. The design incorporates keyed slot hooks on both sides to eliminate unwanted hook rotation. The hooks have the same grip material as the main bar section, for more consistent control, regardless of hand position.

- Tall, comfort seat
The Attak has a tall, comfortable seat. It has been specifically built for the hard-charging rider who likes to ride aggressively. The seat features the roomy cargo space. The seating position is 6 inches forward and 2.5 inches taller than the conventional seat. The added height of the seat makes it even easier to go from sitting to standing, while the firmer foam provides extra comfort.

- Apex-style digital gauge
The Attak features a digital gauge cluster. Readouts include barometric measurements, dual trip meters and a clock! In addition to these functions, the gauge has been styled to match the aggressive lines of the Apex body work.

- Standard electric start
Yamaha’s electric starter system allows consumers to fire up their Attak with the turn of a key. There is no pulling on a nylon cord to get this high-tech engine growling! Electric start has been a standard feature on all of Yamaha’s 4-stroke machines.
